Crystal Bowman is
a lyricist, poet, and author of 21 published books with more on the
way. She earned a B.A. in elementary education from Calvin College
and also studied early childhood development at the University of
Michigan. Her professional writing career began in 1990 when she
became a lyricist for FJH Music Company. Many of her lyrics have been
published in the Piano Adventures® series with
composers Nancy and Randall Faber. Most of her books appear in the
religious preschool market, but she has also written two books of
humorous poetry for children of all ages.
Bowman is active
with local schools, entertaining students with her poems from Cracks
in the Sidewalk as well as conducting writing workshops. Her
forth coming books Dinosaur Stomp and Two Busy Ants
will launch the Piano Adventures® Storybook Series
published by FJH. Crystal and her husband live in Grand Rapids,
Michigan and are the parents of three grown children. |
