Lois Rehder Holmes
received two degrees from Illinois Wesleyan University, including a
Bachelor of Music degree in voice, organ, and piano performance. She
later received a master’s degree in reading from Western
Illinois University. For over 35 years, Holmes has been active as a
piano teacher, organist, choir director, and accompanist. She has
been composing piano music for the past ten years, and since 1996 she
has served as an adjudicator for The International Piano Composition Contest. |
