In the past year,
Randall Faber toured Korea, Taiwan, the U.S., Canada, Australia and
New Zealand and was a master teacher for the World Conference on
Piano Pedagogy, National Conference on Keyboard Pedagogy, and the
National Piano Teachers Institute. He gave recitals in Sydney,
Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, St. Louis, Ann Arbor, and Dallas and
performed as Visiting Artist at the Hoff-Barthelson School in New
York, University of Southern Mississippi, Saginaw State University,
and universities throughout South Korea.
In the previous
season, Dr. Faber toured the United States, England, and Scotland and
presented his academic research at the 9th International Conference
on Motivation in Lisbon, Portugal.
Randal Faber holds
three degrees from the University of Michigan and a Ph.D. in
Education and Human Development from Vanderbilt University. Randall
and his wife Nancy are authors of the Piano Adventures®
teaching method and over two hundred publications for the piano. They
recently founded the Faber
Piano Institute, which hosts their teacher support website PianoTeaching.com,
and reside in Ann Arbor with their daughter Vivian.
