Combining elements
of the blues, rondo form, and a driving 7/8 meter, this energetic
work from Robert Longfield makes use of classical and jazz figures.
The 7/8 meter is very intuitive and provides a rhythmic pulse
throughout the piece. A swing section toward the end is an excellent
teaching tool and will surely delight both your students and audience.
