Everybody Sang

(In a Universal Language)
Jack Wilds
Grade: 3

Written to celebrate the universal tradition of folksong, this multi-movement suite is based on songs from China, Mexico, and Bulgaria. The piece runs the emotional gamut with nostalgic harmonies, beginning with the invigorating first movement and serene second movement. The final movement invokes a dramatic fanfare and irresistible rhythmic drive, bringing the entire piece to a powerful conclusion. (5:00)

COVID-19 and FJH Recordings
The COVID-19 virus has affected our recording sessions for concert band and full orchestra. In order to ensure the safety of all musicians and to comply with state and federal mandates, FJH has postponed our live recording sessions until a time when we can record safely. In the meantime, we have produced high-quality mockups to help you get a head start on previewing our publications. Nothing will ever replace the incredible musicians who record our music, and we look forward to being together again soon. Thank you for your understanding.
