Mike Collins-Dowden teaches elementary school band in Glenview, Illinois. He earned his B.M. in music performance and music education at the Eastman School of Music (‘03) and his M.M. in music education at Temple University (‘07). He is an active composer and arranger of music for young concert and jazz bands and has worked as a festival clinician throughout the Midwest. Living in Chicago, he performs freelance on bass trombone and guitar.
