There is plenty for your percussionists in this contest work by one of the country's most prolific composers. A lyrical opening sets the mood as the piece rockets forward in a burst of energy, eventually moving into a section where percussion alternates with the ensemble clapping rhythms in response. The final section adds layer upon layer as the piece builds to its spectacular climax!
