This dark, musical journey captures the beauty and harshness of a cold, snow covered forest in the mountains. After a main theme captures the solitary feeling of a vast landscape, the work transitions to a lyrical, melancholy theme. Following is a fast, dramatic episode capturing a sense of danger before the opening theme presents itself once more.
