Water trickling from the fountain is portrayed by the running eighth notes in the introduction, while the LH picks up the melody. This piece utilizes the C major scale ascending and descending, and has a contrasting rubato section in the middle. A return to the original theme closes out this flowing work, which is sure to be rewarding for any aspiring Intermediate level student.
