Lars Erik Gudim


Lars Erik Gudim (b. 1965) is a Norwegian trombonist, composer, arranger, and band leader. He studied trombone and composition at the Norwegian Academy of Music.

In addition to working as a musician and conductor, Gudim has also written arrangements and orchestrations for Norwegian Radio Orchestra, NRK, The Festivals in Northern Norway, The Norwegian Armed Forces, Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra, Brass sections in Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra and Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra, NASOL Summer Courses, The Opera in Kristiansund, Østfold Brass, Sverre Olsrud, Roger Fjeldet, Geir Holm and several Oslo area musical theaters and a host of wind bands and big bands.

Among the soloists Gudim has collaborated with include Dee Dee Bridgewater, Bart van Lier, Eddie Daniels, Bob Mintzer, Django Bates, Nils Petter Molvær, Nils Landgren, The Real Group, Jukka Linkola, Bugge Wesseltoft, Staffan William-Olsson and Bill Champlin.
